    Hello!
I've just moved about as far out of the area as I can and still be in the contiguous states - even attempting to organise events from northern Washington would be challenging!
if anybody would like to take over as chapter President please contact Barefoot TJ and let her know.

    Thanks.

    Chris

Quite a change from NY Chris. Congratulations! Very active running community there.

There seems to be. I hope to meet some of them soon as I've just offered to be a volunteer at the Chuckanut 50k in mid-March. I've seen a few people on the trails so far but we've not had chance to chat.

What took you to Washington Chris? I'm sure you'll love it. It gets dark in the winter quickly, but not a bad place at all. Best wishes for your new adventure.

The requirements for the move were that the location be "cooler, quieter and cheaper" than NYC. The climate is really very simliar to the UK so I welcome that and the fact that the Cascades and Puget Sound are only a few miles away was a huge bonus. We'd looked at Portland but decided it was too big a place. Being in a small town but less than 2 hours from Seattle and Vancouver is a real positive - more like where I came from (and where my wife now wants to be :) ).
