Burien, WA Bans Bare Feet

Folks may be interested in my latest blog entry, in which I discover that Burien, WA has just enacted an ordinance that effectively bans bare feet on any city property (though there is a bit of weasel wording).

Here it is:

Burien, WA Bans Bare Feet

At the end I include some contact information in case anybody wants to write to the city council.

Why not enter politics?
or if "the right to be barefoot" seems a bit meager as the only point on a program to stand for city counsellor
why not start a "barefoot rights movement" ?
The advantage of a democracy is that if you don't like the way you are governed, you have the possibility to do something about it at the root of decision making - contrary to other forms of government where you just have to accept what some incompetent or ignorant decider decides for you.

I always love how these government workers find time to work on non-issues...while ignoring important issues.

TJ,
if they worked on important issues they wouldn't get reelected. the nonsense issues makes it look like they're doing something.
