The Non-Runners Marathon Trainer was a favorite of mine. Though it is not a barefoot running book it helped me complete Marathons and 1/2 marathons barefoot! I took ideas and inspiration from this book and used them in barefoot training.

Also not barefoot running books but another inspirational writer and runner for me is Dean Karnazes. some examples are Ultramarathon Man: confessions of a all night runner and 50/50.

I highly recommend "Running with Sherman" as well! Had me crying at some parts and laughing out loud at others. McDougall has a writing style all his own!
