I didn't know there was such a thing. It's great that it's not a magazine made up of shoe ads!

I was asking myself the same question yesterday, thinking I had to register or download -- but today I just went to the link above and the image of the magazine cover now says "click to read" and I was able to just read it via my browser window. Hope that works for you.

Thanks Stephanie, I didn't notice the click to read button yesterday. It worked.

I looked at the magazine and there was an article that interested me on stretching. I read it and it wasn't really about stretching but more of an advertisement. Was pretty bummed. I was hoping there was something to be learned, but apparently you have to pay to stretch with the person...

    Hi rickwhitelaw,
if you prefer to print it out to read on paper,
here is a link where you can download the magazine (and its previous numbers) as a pdf. Just click on the case "Download online magazines":

Thanks Hobbit. I tried to download it before and I had to upgrade Adobe, causing a computer crash. I had to restore. Technology:mad:. Someday I will figure it out.

Thanks for reading and enjoying it - makes the hard work worth it!

For those who don't know (or have forgotten), the magazine is produced without any financial input (advertisers don't pay). People kindly contribute their time and their articles and although this gives them a bit of advertising (and why not!) they mainly do it because they want to contribute to the running community and we are very grateful for this.

I must say to Nick W that I've known several people in the past who have been mistakenly stretching sore muscles, when the muscles are already overstretched and under tension. For them, I think this article is very useful and it hopefully will encourage a few people to re-visit their training programme, whether they are able to modifiy it themselves or ask the help of a professional.

Oh I understand and agree about the overstretching problem. The problem in my eyes with the article, I didn't feel I learned anything other than we need to think about what muscles we need to stretch, and if you want to find out more book a session with Shaun Harris. I was hoping to actually find out something useful instead of just generic and vague information. I do really like the magazine though, I was just disappointed in this one particular article.

Hi Nick - thanks for responding and glad you like the majority of the mag. Not every part of it will appeal to everyone but that's generally the nature of any magazine, website...etc. I do feel the need to provide a voice for magazine contributors on forums such as these as I don't want people to be too scared to contribute in the future or feel that their work isn't appreciated. I do see you point about there not being anything concrete to follow but I think the problem that Shaun would have in adding more detail is the very point of his argument, i.e. that a stretching programme ideally is specific to each individual. I should also point out that his article first appeared on the website of the company where he works, so the 'come and work with me' part does make more sense in that respect and perhaps we should have left that bit out of the magazine. My fault as I'm the editor but we're learning as we go with this!

Thanks Anna for understanding. I've recently been reading up a lot on stretching and so was hoping to glean more from this article. It's ok, I understand that in writing for a magazine or news source that a lot of the information has to be generalized a bit more to fit more of the public that you're trying to reach. I didn't mean to condemn the magazine at all, it was just a minor disappointment to me is all. Thanks for everything you all do with the magazine Anna.

Thanks Nick. Why don't you send us an email with your particular questions about stretching? We have a Q&A section in the mag and your particular concerns may well ring true for many others so we could put together something that way. The more we hear about what people would like to see, the better we can produce a mag that has something for everyone. Thanks for the feedback!

As more I read as more I get confused as a bf runner baby... Next time I fly over to Germany I fly via London and book a session with Anna... :)
I downloaded all the magazines and they are nice to read! The stretches I don't get sometimes, but I'm also the absolute non- Yoga guy (=> I'm not limber but lumber)
