[beware, my English is bad, but my French is better]

Until the 80s of last century, women were not allowed to run the marathon.

Medicine and "the priests in white coats" had decreed that if a woman ran this distance her uterus tear.

Since women are finally allowed to run that distance, they are only 10 minutes from the world record man.

As soon as the distances lengthen the difference between men and women fade.

Emily Baer is ranked eighth on the Hardrock 100 while stopping to breastfeed her baby. She beat 492 other competitors, stopping regularly.

Today, the first person to officially run a trail completely barefoot is a woman. She has an incredible name, Razafindravelo Fanomezantso, but people call her Fano, easier to pronounce :)

Barely 19 years old, wrestling champion of Madagascar in 2012 and 2013, less than 48 kg, a little jig. She won a race of 60 km run barefoot too in 7h26", the half Ultra Trail des ô PLateaux de Madagascar.

This allowed her to go all fees paid to the meeting to participate to the Colorado Trail of Réunion, a distance of 38 km where it will rank in the third position. A difficult and technical trail 38 km with D+ = 1563 m and D- = -1563 m =. This trail account for the championship of Réunion.

Results :
1 : Anna Frost en 4h16'25"
2 : Anne-Cécile DELCHINI en 4h33'55"
3 : Fanomezantsoa RAZAFINDRAVELO en 4h39'42"

Good stuff. I was pleased to know my uterus wouldn't fall out should I want to go for a run now and again.

So awesome!!
The other person right behind Fano appears to be barefooted also.

Or in sandals or a shadow underneath his foot?
