I worked the finish line for a 10K this morning with my track club, had a good time. The funny thing was, word about my barefoot running is really getting around. I get lots of questions, and lots of teasing if I'm wearing shoes to stand at the finish line in 40 degree weather But what cracks me up the most is all the people that want to tell ME all about barefoot running. Random people will say, "Oh, you're the barefoot runner? I just read this great article, it said....." And then proceed to tell me about all the benefits of barefoot running and why people should run barefoot, . Um, yea, I know! I don't mind, and it gives me a chance to expand on what they have read, but I just get tickled when they approach me like they are telling me something new. Anyway, there were at least 2 runners out of 161 in Vibrams, not a bad turn out!
