She kind of goofed on how much I did run barefoot. I actually ran 51 of the 61 km barefoot, including the Mount Hamel summit. I ended up putting my 3 year old KSO's on with the last 10km because I could not make out the gravel on the dirt road to finish well enough with my crappy headlamp. Could of finished it all barefoot if I was not so concerned with time. Lessons learned, you can definitely summit a mountain in a race barefoot.
