Nice one ElyDave. It was actually just a masquerade type mask, plastic if I recall. Not much of a disguise, especially if you consider we foreigners were still somewhat rare back then (mid to late 80s in Osaka). Anyone who saw one of those films (not me, but he did don the mask for us once in a while while downing pints) and then saw Richard on the street would've been able to figure out it was him. I didn't know him that well, but he was a very likeable guy, always had a shit-eating grin.
We were talking kinky, so the leather mask seemed appropriate.who said anything about a leather mask?
