Arkansas is one of the slower

Arkansas is one of the slower chapters to develop, so hopefully with a little more time, they will start to get things going. It currently has 15 members and no chapter lead, so the job is available to someone who has the desire to really grow this chapter.

    Hello Barefoot Fayetteville Guy,
I'm a Fayetteville resident also. I've been running barefoot since March, 2012 and preparing for my first marathon (Tulsa Route 66 Marathon in November.) I've never seen or met another barefooter but would love to meet one and compare notes sometime. I run 4 mornings each week starting at 4:45 because of work and family obligations. I'm still pretty slow! I started running 18 minute miles and have slowly improved until now I'm running 15 minute miles. I'm hoping to be running 12-13 minute miles by the time I do the marathon. I have 4 adult children who all run marathons in shoes and who bought me "Born to Run" to get me off the couch and start running a couple of years ago. They didn't expect me to start running barefoot; they were just trying to get me to get in shape. Anyhow, nice to hear there's another Razorback barefooter out there.

Hey guys. Both my wife and I go barefoot 24/7 and we live in Fayetteville. I don't run much, but when I do it is without shoes. I do a few 5Ks throughout the year though, and would like to get up in mileage and speed someday.
