Sorry for the later than normal review after winning a pair of Xero shoes, but shipment was delayed, and I wanted to wear them as long as possible.
So, nice flexible boot, large toe box, although I did have to take out the liner, as wearing them barefoot usually resulted in the liner coming out when I pulled my foot out anyway.
I still enjoyed the fit and flexibility of the boot, the only issue in sizing was my overly long second and third toes, which do nudge the front of the boot.
Walking in -20 C weather was good, no problems with cold, not sure how they'd do at -40, but for short turns, I don't think they'd do too badly.
Grip was good, didn't do any face plants while out walking.
Didn't have any problems with wetness walking in warmer temperatures either.
Good boot overall, it will make a nice addition to my other minimalist footwear!
