Picked up a book at the used book store called Master the Art of Running. Written by two British chaps. The paradigm behind their running/training philosophy is the Alexander Technique. I'd run across mention of this concept before in Acoustic Guitar magazine, one of the "hot lick" jazz guitarists credits AT with significantly upping his finger speed and accuracy. What I've read so far seems very much in keeping with things I see in these forums. They even mention barefoot running in a very positive light, although neither of them is a practitioner. Any one out there an Alexander Technique adherent/proponent? Any thoughts (better to Google it than have me try to explain my juvenile concept of it in a post) on the head/neck/spine link to performance?
