a "corn" with 6 days until a marthon

I am 6 days away from a marathon that I plan to do with huaraches and barefoot. After doing 15kms yesterday, I felt a dull soreness (that I think is a corn?) that I would rank as a 4 on a scale of 0-10. It feels like it is a little harder than the sole near it, maybe a little thicker and it feels tender when squeezed.

This morning, it was a dull soreness of a 5 on a scale of 0 - 10 when walking on it, but it moved to a 1 once I walked around for awhile.

~ I assume it is a corn?
~ What is the best option with 6 days before a marathon? (pull back from running kilometers, soak it & remove a bit of the core to recess it from the rest of the pad)

I would appreciate any ideas that you might have. THANK YOU!!

Sorry that one of the docs hasn't responded yet. I will email one now.

This is likely just a callous due to the way you bear weight. You can get it checked out and perhaps shaved by a podiatrist before you do the run, just to be safe. A massage, especially in the calves may help since you may have tightened in the calf which resulted in the callous. Just some educated guesses. Hope that helps
