Sweet, glad that I got everybody's right so far.
Just a quick edit to Jake Blauser's mileage it should of read 551 barefoot miles.
Are you going to let us know how your trip down south went? You were MIA for a couple of weeks, that means good times, right?
Trip went good, actually leaving tomorrow for the snowy and cold of Winnipeg. Sorry being MIA due to work, been super crazy as my department was downsized which had me picking up the slack, which left me with no time for anything with deadlines. Got some good runs in at the White Tank Mountains, a very quick run in the snow at the Grand Canyon, got there for the storm that hit there last week. Finished my marathon this morning and pulled off a PR for that distance. So overall a good trip.
So it was YOU that brought all that crappy weather to the States.
Thanks a lot!
Congrats on the PR? RR coming soon?
Hmmm, it might of been, but it was still warmer and nicer than what I left. Unless you wanted -45 to -50 degrees C. with the windchill.
What was your mileage last year, Dama?
Ooops, sorry I missed this TJ.
truth to be told, last year I didn't keep track of mileage since I was dealing with the foot thingy and not running as much then I had foot surgery on May and I didn't start running till Sep-I think.
But If I am to guess I am going to say about 600 maybe 700?
Thanks, Dama! No matter how late, I still will have a shiny certificate for you.
I suppose I should start keeping track.of how far I run....
Today we hiked "The Narrows" -which meant we were trudging through the water (me barefoot and David in his Moc3s) for 3 hours! It was an awesome workout having to balance the whole way! Here are some photos!
AWESOME! Beautiful! Did you just lay down in that water and let it rush over you?! That's what I would have done. Get me an inner tube!
You might want to share this in the Barefoot Hiking forum too. They would love it over there.
out of 920 miles running last year, 363 were bf. that's 40%. hmm. i ran in shoes or sandals a lot!
I guess it's never too late to report your final mileage for 2012?
It isn't if you are "special"
Maybe that is why you got hurt, not enough barefoot miles.
