Do we have any northerners on here? When I was up a month ago I had some great runs along the beach and in the parks. Such beautiful places to run compared to central Ohio. Anyhow I have signed up for a race and figured I'd mention it here. This will be my first race in NY since my high school crosscountry days. The 1812 Challenge (18.12 miles & 1/2 marathon) between Watertown and Sackets Harbor on August 30th. This is minutes away from where I grew up. I'm not really up to the mileage this year but still going to try and pull it off.
Running this one again, Sunday Labor Day weekend September 4 2016, any northern NYers in here? Figured I'd just bump this post again since it was still near the top instead of making a new one.
