I've seen this, too, and it had me laughing for days. I'm hard-pressed to decide what the best part is. I think my favorite is when he starts talking about do-gooders getting interventiony and taking his beer away.
If I was going to do a beer half marathon, I probably would have picked a little less strong beer. Tecante? Come on man...that's strong brew! I'd do this if I could drink a 40 of the High Life.
I'm glad someone bumped this thread. We recently ran a beer mile race at the local high school track and it got me thinking about this post.
I think it wouldn't be too much trouble to actually do this if you were in shape enough to run a half marathon. Also, if you were smarter about the beer selection (i.e. don't drink Tecante and all that nasty beer this dude drank), you probably wouldn't get sick.
That was FANTASTIC. My favorite part was where he blacked out for miles "10, 11, and part of 12." It made me want to hash. Does anybody barefoot hash? I am kind of intimidated by it but it sounds like SO MUCH FUN. Trying to talk dh into going with me.
