Welcome to the Norwegian Chapter of the Barefoot Runners Society!
Hello fellow barefooters of the North!
It may not need to be said, it may be obvious, but there is something special about Norway. It may be the legendary vistas found from the tops of world class mountains. It may be the seas that wash a million islands along thousands of kilometers of coastal splendor. Perhaps it is the history, unparalleled throughout the world where a runner can run on beaches, hills, and Viking Age ruins all on the same run. You are also special. You are a tougher breed of barefooter.
Sure, some folks can enjoys long summers and mild winters. Let the Tarahumara have their Copper Canyons deep in the mountains of Mexico. Let others have their beaches. Not every person is tough enough to run barefoot in a land of winter, of ice, of snow, of fog. Let them have their easy climates for we have Norway. We are Norsk.
Welcome!

I have been asked to add this link to this page by Levorsen:
Hi Paul,
Is it possible to add a Facebook URL to the Norway Chapter? I think we can reach out more with that URL there.
