Welcome to the Minnesota Chapter of the Barefoot Runners Society! My name is Bare Lee. I live in St. Paul, between 280 and the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. I've been running barefoot since 2010, but only consistently since 2011. Previously, I had run barefoot as part of my karate training 20 years ago. I'm not much of a runner but I enjoy it tremendously and try to get in 25-30 miles per week. I've been a casual barefooter for a good deal of my adult life.
As President of the Minnesota chapter, I would encourage all members to be as active as possible. I usually run very early in the morning, and have two young children, so it won't be possible for me to organize group runs, but if anyone wants to do that, please feel free to use this page for that purpose.
Likewise, I'm not a racer, but if anyone else would like to notify our Chapter about upcoming events or local articles that might be of interest, please feel free to post them here, along with any race reports or photos.
Finally, please let me know if I can be of any help in other matters concerning BFR, or if you have ideas on how to improve our Chapter.
