    Rubberized Track vs. Asphalt/Concrete

    Is it my imagination or does it take more effort to run on a rubberized, soft track? My pace is usually slower on a track yet I feel like I'm working much harder. Is this because it doesn't cause as much rebound as a hard surface?

    Snohomish Mud & Muck Run, August 09, 2014

    This is from one of two races I was in last weekend. The boys are my son and my nephew. We all had a blast! Quite a few people commented that I was smart for going barefoot because many people lost shoes in the mud. Little did they know that I run like this all the time. ;)

    Hello From the Pacific Northwest

    Howdy. I live in Snohomish, a medium-size town about 40 minutes North of Seattle in Washington state. I started running last December. I've been running barefoot since February and I absolutely love it. I always hated running in years past because of the jarring, jolting and overall pain. Now...
