I just finished my third month of MAF runs. I can definetly tell you it works. I do know the pain of getting passed by a walker. The MAF did improve my pace by 30secs or so but the best improvement was the reduced heart rate now while running. Good luck with your MAF work!
Congrats Jen. I laughed when you mentioned your first fall. I too just started trail running and tripped over a little stump this past friday. Its amazing how fast the ground comes up!:D
TJ I can relate to everything you mentioned. I wouldn't trade my dogs for the anything. And in return they leave me piles of love all over the backyard.:D
I use the "cardio trainer app" on my android phone. You can track your run with the gps feature, it will graph your speed, give you split times, steps taken on your run so you can figure out your cadence, plus many other features. And it was free.
