    Any experience with these boots?

Yeah it seems like all toe Yeah it seems like all toe boxes on military boots are very narrow. Fortunately they make all the boots in wide and even sometimes extra wides. @tom- I had the SV2's for a while as my rucking boots. I am short (5'4") and they came up very high on my shins/calves...

    Air Force: Basic Military Training

Army here- when we got to Army here- when we got to basic we were issued everything, even our running shoes. Anything brought with us got locked up in a closet until we finished. Like Phil said, the AF does tend to be smarter then us on most things.

    Any experience with these boots?

Looking down the road I am going to need some garrison boots. I am looking at these and was wondering if anyone had experience with them. I want to thin down the soles and take out some heel but still have a "defined heel" so I dont have any problems.

Questions from a new barefoot runner :)

1- I do not stretch. I do not 1- I do not stretch. I do not believe in it. There are plenty of studies that show that stretching a "cold" muscle (as in before a run) does more harm than good. I do believe in warming up. I walk for a given amount of time, slow pace, then gradually increase to my...

Are you a "proactive" barefoot runner?

We have all had our share of people stopping us or initiating a conversation with us while we are running barefoot. Has anyone thrown a curve ball and before they could say anything to you say something like "have you seen my shoes" and "no, I didnt forget my shoes" or "I dont know how you can...
