I got a request from "Erskien Lenier", he had two common friends with me, one of them being our Jason. His info is public and at first he looked ok, barefoot runner and all. But I read through his super-long reumé and realised that he either runs or at least pushes an online pyramid scheme.

I asked Jason about him and he confirmed that all the guy seems to post about is his financial scams. So, there's another one to say 'no' to:

Erskien Lenier, remember it. You heard it here first.

 yeah, I accepted his friend

yeah, I accepted his friend request too....but after the initial "get to know you message" and me saying "I have everything I need, and more than I want" he let that go...although he did make sure to send me a message saying that I hurt myself because I must have been heel striking, and he can help me with form because he is an expert...I said in nicer terms "thank you, but no thank you." He seems like a nice guy though....but I always run when I see those types of "Money making" things.

huh, I don't know why either. The pyramid guy figured it out, lol - I must have tightened my security settings beyond the normal level somehow. I look at it, but I get lost pretty quickly at FB :p

I just never answered his request to "get to know me better". It did seem like a cut and paste job so didn't bother wasting my time.

probably smart...I've not heard anything back from him though :)....I will tell you, with all my new-found BF friends on FB, it looks to my "real-life" friends that I know many people, LOL...I think, with the exception of Barefooters, I know every one of my other friends outside of cyberland...been pretty lucky so far :-D

He also goes by Barefoot DNA. At least he did on "that other forum we don't mention here," until they kicked him out because too many people complained that he was a spammer.

I have him on my friends list. although he doesn't bother me I laugh every now and then because he and Tellman talk about Erskien attempting to run barefoot across the country. I find his method of picking mentors interesting.

I've kept him as a friend for entertainment puposes. I think he's actually a pretty nice guy... just really, REALLY caught up in the "make an instant fortune" game.

When he first friend requested me about a year ago, he offered to let me in on a deal that would guarantee I could quit my job. I responded by telling him I make too much money as it is. After that, he dropped the MLM talk.

Same here...when I said I have everything I need, and more than I want...I haven't heard anything more....but I like responding to some of his status reports on occasion with slightly absurb comments...

Jason, he's the one who told

Jason, he's the one who told everyone in the Shoe and Injuries Forums on RW that they needed to go barefoot to cure all that ails them. That was his blanket answer for everything. He harrassed the hell out of everybody, and he wasn't even a gentleman about it. How he could type so much stuff to so many people and even be unique with each and every post is beyond me. He really ticked off a lot of shod runners though. I found him highly entertaining though. But he made the shod runners hate us BFRs when RW gave us our own forum. They jumped in there looking to hunt him down and hang him high from the ceiling, but he wasn't there. RW had already kicked him out.

erguh I accidently let him

erguh I accidently let him friend me and then fixed that pretty quick. He re-sent the request constantly! I finally selected "I don't know this person at all" when denying the request and they don't show up after that.
