I won't be home. This will be my view the next few days of the Shannendoah River.

Ironically, canoeing on the Harpeth River is what put me into labor. The water was low and we kept hitting rocks the entire way down.

Looks like some places we used to jetski. Be safe Ram, and have a blast!

A little diddy before y'all go now:

I looked hard for cans. This is all I found, never had it but if lomad gives his blessing then Cheers!

Pirate, No chance of the rum going bad. no chance at all.

Hannah, Ram; The renaissance of canned beer is in full effect, led by the microbrewing community. Mny of the brewers out here are focused on sustainability, which aluminum makes easier. also, the cans keep light from skunking the beer, giving longer shelf life.

Plus, based on my Southern/borderline redneck roots, there's just something about reaching into an icewater filled cooler and pulling out a near-freezing can of beer and knocking it back. Look for Dales, Caldera, 21st Amendment, New Belgium, Ft. George, and Hopworks as great examples of quality canned beer.

Another epic trip. Spent around 20 hours in a canoe...As you can see it was a Fu Manchu kinda trip.

What's with the spread eagle?

That's my brother, he's chillaxin. He was smoking cigars, I was fishing, just drifting down the river.

You so didn't get my joke. Banjos.

He looks like you, doesn't he?
