Agreed!I don't know. If I want to be BF, I want to be BF dammit! I don't want things all wrapped up around my feet.
It's sad to think that someone seeing a foot with straps across it wouldn't give it a second look, but nekkid feet OH NOEZZZ WORLD'S GONNA END!!!!
I like them but not the price. There are some places that just won't let you in bare, and not everyone wants to put up a fight about it all the time. These will please or fool them enough to get you by. Of course, it would be nice if the rest of the so-called developed world would just "get over it."
I agree with everything said here. I'd rather be barefoot, but sometimes people go apeshit about it, and that can ruin my mood/day, despite my not wanting it too. I feel like 'fooling' them might be kinda fun.
The actualy wrap job doesn't seem that bad. Surely one could by similar straps and clips and make something similar? Like with supplies from Michaels or something?

Any worthwhile outdoor store will have the necessary webbing and fasteners. Probably cost about $7 or 8 for the materials.
All those straps wouldn't work for me. I want something I can slip on quickly if I need to run into a store that has shoe police. I bought some Luna sandals, but I find myself using cheap flip-flops most.
Also they are rather ugly. You could probably design something cheaper and nicer looking. I think they are odd enough looking that you would get a lot of attention from them. Leather straps, or at least thinner canvas would seem to be a better option to not draw attention to your non-shod feet.
