Plantars Wart Removal

I've already browsed through some of the older posts with reference to warts, but let's be honest: I'm too lazy to try to piece bits and pieces of old threads together right now. Sooo, I'm starting a new thread with the question:

Is it possible to get rid of plantars warts without taking a break from barefoot running to let stuff heal? I'm talking natural remedies and stuff that doesn't leave holes, blisters, etc. What worked for you?

I had warts on nine fingers (around the cuticles) and on the bottoms of both feet as a teen and ended up visiting the docter ever three weeks for nine months to get them frozen before they were finally gone. I'm not up for that kind of treatment this time. Takes too long and IMO too much wasted time in doctors' waiting rooms.

This time I only have one wart on each foot, so I feel like the easiest way would be to have a doctor cut them out, but I don't want to have to take a break from running to let the holes heal. (Also, I haven't been able to find a doctor here in Germany that will do that. They all want to do the freezing thing.) Any advice?

I wonder what the docs would say in the Ask the Docs forum. My sister got a wart on her foot from wearing VFFs (we're sure of it), and she used one of those over-the-counter remedies that "burns" the wart with acid. It swelled up like a mushroom. I posted pictures once. It took a good two months or more for the thing to fall off, but before that, she couldn't even walk on it. Ha!

Okay, I found the picture. Groddie, huh?

I wrote this in another thread: Her wart was flat and the size of a nickle, but the more you use this freeze stuff, the more it sucks it out and brings it to a head. I mean is this gross or what?! I told her last night to get to the doctor and quit being such a sissy! It gives me the freakin' ibby-gibbies!

I had what I thought were warts on my soles for years (mid foot and outer edge). They started soon after warts on my hands went away or got removed. Tried removing them with various at home methods. Finally asked the doctor about them and she said they were corns! Said I should try wider shoes. So I stopped wearing narrow shoes and they went away in 3-4 months.

Have you tried THUJA? It truly does work well. If you need some help on how to use it please feel free to message me....
