Favorite sports

Football (American type; NCAA and high school...NFL can suck it), CrossFit, baseball and hockey. Excellent topic Mandy.

Is Crossfit a sport or an exercise/workout regiment?
 
American football, NFL (highschool and college can suck it)! Lol! Actually I like watching any American football but only go out of my way for the NFL. I kind of eat breath and crap football. My wife says I am addicted and I need to go work for my fav. team, because I follow even during off season whats going on. I also love boxing and MMA, although I don't get to do either of those anymore.
mixed martial arts and boxing. ive always been fascinated by the skill and technique. Both require so much thinking, people dont realize.
My wife doesn't understand why a grown man/woman would want to roll around on the ground with another man/woman.
 
Oh I know. Back before I was made of glass:D , I was a state champion wrestler, boxer and I also did a little MMA. Didn't get to do as much MMA as I wanted though because my back was going out on me at the time.
 
I'm serious. Seems like I just keep having injury after injury after injury. This 5 years of a sedentary life because of my back problems seems to have made my body extremely weak. Starting to question how much I will ever be able to run...
 
That's how I feel about my injuries. Seems my back is doing better but my lower extremities are the ones that have weakened so bad that I get over one injury just to have another. And that's with me not even pushing much. Oh well, just keep trying to get healthier I guess.
 
I'll watch rugby in the rare cases when I run across in on TV in the US, but generally I do not like watching sports. I don't have much time to play sports these days, but I am hoping to get back into martial arts soon.

I also enjoyed that new jousting show on the history channel, although I don't see it catching on as a serious sport. Way to dangerous and probably too much down time if watched live
