Ok I'm gonna ask- bash at will I can take it

blisters are not only a sign of soft skin but bad form. blisters on your toes means you're pushing off and can be tough for people to unlearn. you're going to have to decide what's most important to you and go for it. learning to run bf or getting in the mileage.
Ive been working on that too!! two runs now one 2.5 with some trail and no blisters, then 3.6 today and so far not missing skin.

Mike, blisters on the toes can also be caused from gripping the ground with your toes. I do this sometimes and I have to consciously think about relaxing the toes.

I will have to try this. I am a new bf runner and thought the blister on my middle toes was just normal. I know that I grip with my toes, and thought that was what I was supposed to do. This is why I read this forum.

Personally i havent had any problems in running both with bf, in min shoes, and in 'traditional' shoes all at the same time.

I run seriously high millage and simply am not willing to reduce my millage as i transition to lighter and more minimal shoes. It also has to be said that i havent experienced any injuries running in 'traditional' shoes... or BF & Min either.

I guess some points that need to be kept in mind is that mixing may slow the transition down. Using Min shoes may also encourage you to progress the distance out too far too soon for what your foot can currently handle...
