Proper skin maintenance

Same here....when she first discovered I was using the loofa for removing foot dirt she wasn't exactly happy, but she also realizes that I am only trainable at the simplest of tasks and then only in a limited quantity. So, she decided against engaging in the battle for the loofa and bought herself a separate one.
sounds familiar :D

Dry skin is a major problem in winter when the humidity is low. I have to skip the shower every other day. I know it's better to shower in cold water, however, I really don't like it. I don't use body wash below the knees and only use it on the feet when they are really dirty. A bath sponge works fine.
I read some time ago that European athletes think Americans are obsessed with bathing. They feel that sweat is basically clean and that it is not necessary to shower more than once a week. I'll stick with daily showers in summer.
