R2R2R

@Abide - I would love to

@Abide - I would love to check out some of the Tonto Trail. I'll be in Sedona from Feb 2 -6 and would like to at least drop off of the South Rim a little. If I am too sore from the Sedona marathon on Feb 4th, I'll at least check out some of the trail heads.

@TJ - Dave also goes by Davy. Another super human from Utah. Dana Miller from my hometown of Cedar City, Utah might have been the 1st to do a quad crossing in 1994.

That's in a year and a half, way too far out for me to even think about, less commit. Your on your own boys.

I'll pass along any tips and advice after I get my ass handed to me by the GC this year.

As for the mules I'm thinking about staying away from the mule piss route err Bright Angel trail, and running the S kaibab up and down. The only problem is there is no water after the river. hmmmm. Guess I could just play it by ear.
You know you'll be there!

Davy Crockett has his own

Davy Crockett has his own website. Boy, technology today!

What's his website address?

Seriously, I am related to the Crocketts, and I was wondering if he was too. We have another member here, NakedSoleNate, who is also related to Davy Crockett through the same bloodline (Crockett's neice). We only found out about each other by asking questions after he joined here. Where is Nate, anyhow?

Rick I'm going to bring back this old thread instead of derailing your shoe one. Let me know what days you are planning on and I will see if I can make it work. Are you planning on starting from the N rim or S rim?

I'll have to get back to you Abide. My friend in Page is setting it up, so I will e-mail him. It should be mid-may. I don't know if he wants to do a single crossing or go for a double. If it is Rim to Rim, I would rather start at the south rim and have the extra vertical going uphill.

Vanessa and I are shooting for the R2R2R with a large group in early May. Getting custom shirts made and everything for this trip.

Do you know what weekend Shacky? Or is it during the week?

There are a lot of groups here going up in May too, I'm thinking I'll plan another one in the fall around late Sep or late Oct so there is another option. I am still going up in June and August too.
