Vanessa Runs and myself signed up for the Oriflamme 50k here in San Diego for this upcoming Saturday and then I noticed there was another 50k being held on Sunday up in the Bay area. This is a challenge I've wanted to tackle for a few years and so we signed up for the double. Yes folks, that will be 2 50k races in one weekend.
A couple chats and messages later, and we convinced Krista and Pablo to join us for the SanFran run (Rodeo Valley 50k). As it turns it, the Robillards will be in the bay area during this time and decided to sign up for Rodeo Valley as well. But the Robillards being the Robillards will not allow Vanessa and I to one up them and so they will be doing a 50k training run the day before.
And so it becomes a nice BRS meetup at the Rodeo Valley 50k this Sunday! Come join us if you are in the area and don't forget to bring your Trail Gloves.
