Anyone else out there enjoying walking and running in the stems? I have had mine now for over 4months now and I am really liking them. Infact they are now my favorite footwear. My only complaints are that they aren't made in more colors/styles and that they aren't made in half sizes :-(

w00t another positive review! I'm heading to Nashville next week on business, and it just so happens the only store in TN carrying Stem is right there near downtown Nashville! Got plenty of birthday money, can't wait!

I have had mine since October

I have had mine since October (I think) and I LOVE them! My favorite casual shoes, for sure. I also wish they come in more colors, but I guess if they're successful, maybe we'll see more in the future :)

I have mine 4 months now too

I have mine 4 months now too and i have worn them everyday bar none. So comfortable and they look good, would love another pair but no sign of any wear on the soles yet. Can't recommend highly enough!

I wear my stems to work. I work in dialysis and don't think I could get away with vff's and most of my co-workers think i'm nuts running barefoot during my lunch break. i'm with you on the style/color issue. I've been wearing mine pretty much since their launch.

I think they look great from

I think they look great from the pictures I've seen. I can't find them anywhere locally and I don't order shoes online unless I know exactly what size I need in that particular shoe. They look like a shoe that many people might not realize are a min shoe just by looking at them on your feet, at least in the pictures. I like how they look normal and not all goofy. They don't scream look at me.

I disagree. The brown ones could've been an acceptable business casual shoes, if not for the big blue graphic on the side.

I see they've taken advice and changed that part of the shoe. Good. Imagine the twig graphic on the side colored bright blue instead of subdued brown. That's how it originally was on the Stem site. So thanks for the info.

Nyah, I don't think by looking at the pictures they have on their website that they scream look at me. They look an awful lot like vans or pumas. I like that a lot and they would get noticed a hell of a lot less than a lot of the min shoes out there. I don't know if I could go back to closed toe shoes though, I'm almost always barefoot or huaraches and the once a week that I wear my Adams my feet sweat horribly bad. I would like to have a pair though so I could look normal that one day a week when I go to my inlaws.

NickW, I already acknowledged that my opinion was based on Stem's previous colorway, which I mistakenly thought was the one they were currently using.

my massuere is working with Dr Ray to be sellers here. he can get them for you. they are deceptively light. they feel amazing in hand. no, this time i didn't try them on but i'm sure they feel amazing. oh, and i don't think shoes are going to help you look normal. :tongue:

Hahaha! Coming from you Mike, I wish I could find Daniels picture from the one race last year. Remember, the one you complained about to him, made you look goofy. Lol! I'm actually shocked you didn't try them on. You try on everything, even if it isn't your size. I will have to check them out when they get them.

Stems look like old lady

Stems look like old lady shoes to me - especially in the colors they've chosen; the only other horrible shoe color missing is taupe.

But, perhaps you guys don't care much about wearing old lady shoes.

If a shoe is effective in minimizing its influence on the foot, I can't see it making a healthy person appear decrepit.

w00t just got my pair this

w00t just got my pair this evening! They seem to run true to size with my KomodoSport LS's, both are 46. My big toe just barely touches the end of the shoe sometimes on both sides. OMG DANG they are so comfortable!!! The store I went to in Nashville only had the brown and the green/blue. I tried the brown but actually thought it looked kind of boring, and I actually wear brown shoes with nice jeans most every day at work. I ended up going with the green/blue.

Yeah, not so sure about them

Yeah, not so sure about them with my darker jeans, though. Don't think these could be an everyday office shoe for me, probably only on Fridays. I've been wearing the VFF's most every Friday since October, so my co-workers will probably be glad to see something less wild haha.
