Chia seeds. Use the link at the right, refresh until it comes up. It's a great deal. You get lots for a very low amount. It's the best deal I could find for you all, and I researched.

You mean a foam roller? I would definitely go with a high density version.

I love my foam roller but

I love my foam roller but also get a lot of mileage out of a golf ball, 1 ft. length of 1" PVC and a softball. I have the triggerpoint therapy roller - it's pretty good but there are some more hardcore versions out there.

tough call.  I have both and

tough call. I have both and the trigger point roller definitely gets into the knots better. It depends on how much work you need. I think I paid $20 for the old fashioned foam version, so paying the difference on the upgrade is likely worth it.

Oh!  You said roller!  My

Oh! You said roller! My bad. :shy:

My tip: PVC pipe from the

My tip: PVC pipe from the hardware store, the widest you can find - mine is 11x50cm, not sure what that is in inches but super cheap, does a GREAT job, and you can use the Amazon GC's for something else. You can stretch a nylon sock over it to give it a little warmer, friendlier feel.

I'm with BFwillie on this one - BUY PVC PIPE! Lowe's & Home Depot carry a 4"x2' white pvc pipe for under $7. IT will hurt like a byatch for the first coupla' rolls, but once you get comfortable hitting those trigger points, nothing else will feel like it's working (unless it's a massage).

TJ, I think editing to many of Chasers posts might have done something to your way of thinking maybe?

I guess you're probably right. :-(

I've heard the trigger point

I've heard the trigger point rollers are pretty good. Alternatively you can always use a wooden pastry roller (like I do..HA!)

I've used a wooden roller

I've used a wooden roller too, Zap. It's very painful when my hubby uses it on my legs. I think he likes inflicting pain on me that way. Hee.

Ouch. I like to be in control of the pain, but I guess whatever rocks your boat, girl... ha!

Plain 4" pvc has started

Plain 4" pvc has started really working for me. I don't see why you would need anything more fancy or expensive, but maybe I'm just a cheapo.

I have the regular black high

I have the regular black high density foam roller, which works well for me, however, if I had money to burn, I just might get a Rumble Roller. (as seen here http://www.mobilitywod.com/2011/03/episode-206365-the-couch-series.html)

I am planning to get a PVC pipe soon to add some more intensity to my "torture sessions".
