WARNING: Contains Graphic Pictures -- Well, I'm off to my first surgery. Wish me well!

TJ - TWO operations!!! ...

TJ - TWO operations!!! ... boy, you sure are a sucker for punishment. Wishing you good health and a speedy recovery. I think all of us were in a collective state of holding our breath waiting to hear how your surgery went. One done and one to go. Now I know why they say women are much tougher than us wimpy guys.

Looking forward to your first running report, after the successful operations and recovery.

Take care,

I am too.  Thanks guys!

I am too. Thanks guys! Sucker for punishment, that's me! I'm up to 41 needles stuck in my feet now (yes, I've been keeping track through all the procedures)! Not fun!

Hope you'll be back to running soon (and wearing shoes if you want have to. :) )

;-)

You'll heal up just fine, Boss, and when look back on this whole thing in your old age, you just wiggle your toes and chuckle :)

Heal well, TJ.

Heal well, TJ.

TJ, after all you've been

TJ, after all you've been through I'm hoping no more needles or knives for your feet. Only running therapy from now on! Stay strong - and drugged - for another couple weeks, then hopefully the worst will be over. Looking forward to your run reports. Then we'll have an online BRS celebration for you! I'll have some bubbly ready for the occasion.

Uh, too much bubbly perhaps?

Uh, too much bubbly perhaps? Celebrating early?

Thanks all!

I am over the worst of it, I think. The pain was very tolerable today. Pain killers seem to be working well. My hubby bought me some crutches so now I can hop to the potty instead of crawl, although I get around faster on my hiney, scooching backwards.

It would have to be imagine

It would have to be imagine enjoying, trust me. At least I'm getting some good exercise due to my weak bladder. Ha!

   Good to hear everything is

Good to hear everything is going well so far.

I hope your hubby is taking very good care of you while you're healing, take full advantage of it since you won't get this opportunity too often.

Thanks all!  It's funny

Thanks all! It's funny because my dad-in-law and mom-in-law stopped through on their way back home to the midwest after visiting more family in Florida to help out while I was recovering from the first surgery. My hubby tells me last night that they planned to leave this morning because she wasn't feeling well (she has MS) and asked me if I knew if there were any casinos in Kentucky or Illinois they could stop at to play the slots on their way home! Ha!

So there goes some of my help, sick and off to play the slot machines!

They can rebuild her...they

They can rebuild her...they have the technology! ;o)

Hope you heal up quick, TJ! I'm sure you're going nuts not being able to run!

-Jonny

Thank you, Jonny and Phil!

Thank you, Jonny and Phil! Feels like family.

So my bandages just "sorta"

So my bandages just "sorta" came off my foot this morning, and then I just "kinda" helped them along the rest of the way, and YIKES! My whole top of foot is bruised this weird redish-brown color and swollen but not infected (talk about TOFP!). I'm pleased that the scars are not up as high on the top of my foot as I thought they would be but still! They're in a weird place, and everything looks yucky! Should I take pictures? Do I want to remember this? Do you want to see it? Am I gross?
