Running in colder weather

Well last year, I ran

Well last year, I ran barefoot down to 25f then stopped once the snow got on (and stayed on) the ground.

I was only doing up to 3 or 4 miles and I could quite at anytime as it was loops around my neighborhood.

Now that I'm going 10+ I want to run all the way thru winter. The cold should be fine but the wetsnow????

I was debating betwqeen KSO Treks (too slippery). the new Borrmios (too constricting for running because of the ankles no t having enough movement) and the Trek LS (leather between the toes, can be waterproofed with Aqua waterproofing cream).

At this point, the Trek LS sounds like the perfect thing for those wetsnow packed days.

I also have Luna Equus' which I use on the tail end of long runs. which i supposed could be good for the soles if the ground is dry, but my concern is about running in the packed snow once it winter hits here in New England.

Any ideas on other Almost barefoot alternative? the Trek LS's with waterproofing seems to be the best choice at this point.

I'm not sure Olarte.  I'm

I'm not sure Olarte. I'm going to be trying out my new Altra Adams this winter when we get our occaisional ice or if we are lucky snow. We don't get a lot of snow, if any in the Pacific NW so I'm not sure what to recommend. I think the Adams will be fine on ice but I have no idea when wet from snow or how much traction they'll have on snow. They are pretty flat like a kso on the sole which makes me think they should be ok on ice with lots of surface area touching the ground.
