Suggestions so far:

From Barefoot YOW:

- a bunch

- a gaggle

- a herd

- a chatter

- an arsensal

- nut house

- a pod

From pbarker:

A pack of persistence hunters

From ATL Oso:

A pride (like lions)

A murder (like crows)

A march (because we march to our own drummer...?)

A sneak (because you will never hear us coming)

O.K. one more...

A Freedom.

pbarker - I also like Pack.

And from Yours truely:

A Yard.

You know, just a few feet.

Any more suggestions?

It's kind of funny, a couple of my running partners (all shod but I am working on them), always comment on how they love the 'pitter patter' sound my feet make as I run along. I keep telling them, Sshhhh, I am in ninja mode, your not suppose to hear me!!!!

Ninjas.  That's us.

Ninjas. That's us.

I like pitter patter too. Or

I like pitter patter too. Or a "flight." "Pitter patter" is so cute and disarming, even though BFers can run really fast! Oh wait, I know. We're a "sneak"! :)

Though according to the road commentary I keep getting from the Wannbe Lances around here, I'm a "road hazard." (Or is that "distraction" since female cyclists never, ever comment?)

Ha... "a sneak" indeed!

Ha... "a sneak" indeed! :)

It also opens up the option of calling us "sneakers"... gotta like the irony.

A pad...as in footpad, an old term for a thief, because he sneaks along.

An instep...cause we run in step with each other. Llook! There goes another instep of those BFR's!"
