Pick me! Pick me! I ran on a wonderful pair of "flipuaraches" this summer, but alas, they finally gave out so I am back to my hole-worn KSOs. : )?

I'm ready to try another new version of barefoot footwear. I've concluded that shoes of all kinds are poor substitutes for the real comfort of barefootin'.

I like Stem Footwear. Dr. Ray, podiatrist in Portland wears them. They have huge toe box and very flexible sole. I would wear them. If I don't win a pair, I may buy a pair. Thanks for the giveaway!

Hello STEM Footwear! I am a

Hello STEM Footwear!

I am a barefoot runner and I am still looking for a pair of minimalist shoes. I have run about 175 miles almost entirely barefoot thus far. On October 8th and 9th I am going to add another 100 miles to my track record as I will run the Ultra Marathon "Slickrock" in Utah (http://www.runmoab.com). The distance: 100 Miles, the time: 30 hours. This is my first Ultra / Marathon / Competiton / Race ever.

Better late than never.

I do own a pair of Vibram Fivefingers "KomodoSport" and "Sprint" as well as a pair of Saucony's Hattori. So far I like the Hattori's but they are just "Ok". They have a stretchy part on top of my foot and my foot flexes a lot when I run in shoes.

So, yes. They can hurt after a while.

1) This is my one and only post in here

2) I am a member of the BRS

3) I did hit the "Like" button and wrote a short but sweet recommendation.

4) I am very willing to write a detailed review about the shoes after 3 to 4 weeks of running in them.

That would probably mean something between 50 and 100 miles in distance.

In addition to that, I am constantly expanding my knowledge on all things running, nutrition (living the Cavemen way, Paleo), biomechanics and the like. Furthermore, I am also building up a group of runners on Twitter (almost daily I have new people following me for the running) which I think is just down right cool.

Let's hope that you are interested enough to get me a pair of these awesome shoes so that I can return you the favors you're asking for.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

--Kai
