Ok guys, I just had to share this because it really surprised me on a couple different levels.

Last winter I participated in our local running clubs marathon training group targeting the Kalamazoo marathon. The club is getting organized for this winter and out of the blue I get an email from the club prez/program director asking if I would be a pace leader! And she said she felt I would be terrific! Imagine that! A barefoot pace leader!

There was a girl who posted here, can't remember who, who said that she had been asked to be a pace leader, then when she showed up and they found out she would be running barefoot, they told her she couldn't have the job, and kicked her out. Anyone remember that?

that was Willow Ryan from right here in Portland OR. inactive poster but active runner. i know she did the H2C but not sure if she was bf. maybe i'll ask.
