For those of you who follow my twitter account @barefootpuffin, you'll already know that I found out yesterday that my wife and I are expecting a barefoot mini puff sometime in the next 9-10 months. We are very excited. I've written a blog about it, and I've also written about my first run after my week offf last week. Anyway, I hope you'll check out the posts, and subscribe to the blog to follow me along on this new and crazy adventure.

It must be your first. I think I detected a rosy glow to your post. Congratulations! Keep your eye out for a used running stroller. Kids love'm and they give you a great opportunity to get out for a run and not feel guilty.

Never sold ours, it's hanging

Never sold ours, it's hanging from the garage rafters just waiting to bring happiness to another generation one day.

The Twinner (side-by-side from Racing Strollers Inc AKA Baby Jogger) disappeared after we loaned it out when we were done usinf it.

Oh well, not sure if I could handle those double kid uphill runs any more anyways.

These days you can probably find a used one easier, but back then it was impossible.

My husband doesn't run with

My husband doesn't run with me anymore. The last time we ran together, he was pushing our boys in the double jogger, complaining his knees were hurting, thinking we were going to run just three miles when we actually were running 6 plus... Hey, in fact, that's the same day I ran barefoot for the first time! Yeah me! Pooh him!

Thanks everyone for all the great feedback and replies. Yes, this is my first child and I'm super excited. We are very much hoping for a boy. It would be the first boy in our immediate family since I was born...We HAVE to break this chain of girls. 7 and counting. YIKES. I'm already on the hunt for a good used jogging stroller. If anyone has one for sale, let me know and maybe we can work something out. I'm findint that the barefoot community is about so much more than just being barefoot. I've met some of the nicest people since I started this journey, and I'm glad to have you guys included on this new journey my wife and I are on.

Indeed it would. I find if

Indeed it would. I find if being barefoot doesn't create enough warm fuzzies, a nice glass of scotch creates plenty of warm fuzzies.
