Okay, all you boys & girls in barefoot land. Have we got a deal for you! We are giving away 2 copies of this book (compliments of the author).

And the best part, is that to win, all you have to do is post in this thread. Well, that and you have to be the lucky one (of two) whose names are drawn out of the electronic hat!

The contest will begin Friday (April 8, 2011) @ 8:00 Central Standard Time and will go for one week. For the time-challenged, this means the contest will end on April 15, 2011 @ 8:00 CST. This should give all you slackers that only check periodically a chance to win. 'Cause @ the BRS we're all about fairness. ;-)

Since you have to be a member of the BRS to post, the contest will be open only to BRS members. But if you are not yet a member, feel free to join (after all, it is free) and then you will be eligible to enter.

I finally got off the fence

I finally got off the fence and went completely bare (of the feet) the other day. For a little more than a year, I have been running in minimalist shoes, whether they be five fingers or Inov8 or New Balance AT100s, with the desire of wanting to go completely barefoot. Knock on wood, I have not been plagued with injuries, instead I seek to become as efficient runner as possible in order to continue to run well in to my 70s, 80s and possibly beyond. If Second Wind offers the guidance of how to get there and stay there, I'd buy it! Good Luck Levi with the book!
