I've been barefoot running for a couple of years. Barefoot trail running for 1 1/2 years. I pride myself on staying focused as I know this is critical to avoiding injury on technical barefoot runs. I've managed to avoid any real injuries up until now. For a moment a few days ago, I lost focus, not on the trail though. I was in my bedroom, putting a shirt on and walking across my room. I kicked my bedpost and that was that. My wife will not let me hear the end of it...

Thanks to all for your sentiment :)

Ouchie momma!  Can you run

Ouchie momma! Can you run with it fractured? Will it be a few weeks before you run again?

Never fails, the injuries

Never fails, the injuries always rear their ugly heads close to home, or at home.

TJ, I  can run, but only

TJ, I can run, but only barefoot. Any footwear is too constricting. Unfortunatley, its been a little too cold to barefoot for me lately so I'll probobaly just run the mill for a week or so.

I get hurt in the bathroom

I get hurt in the bathroom the most around the shower and tub. How about huaraches and Vaseline, E? Will those work for you in winter-time?
