What kind of wine do BFR's drink????

My wife found the Barefoot

My wife found the Barefoot Wine a couple of months ago, not the best, but the novelty is there.

haha, I was sadly

haha, I was sadly disappointed in the Barefoot wine, it's definitely no comparision to real barefooting :p

For lower price point, I'd say Yellowtail

However, I'm quickly starting to enjoy some of the newer box wines. Bota Malbec and Shiraz are good as is Boho Old Vine Zin.

I can never pass up a Menage a Trois ;) Good red :drunk:

Middle Sister Rebel Red and Promiscuous Red are good

anything from Argentina or Chile (ooo, Pascual Toso Cabernet Sauv is excellent!)

for sweeter whites, Chateau

for sweeter whites, Chateau St. Michelle harvest reisling isn't bad...I'm usually not much of a reisling fan

Sauv. Blanc by Cupcake is great...very citrusy

Vihno Verde by Gazela is good too, great price

Any reds from Paso Robles-

Any reds from Paso Robles- latest fave Cabernet is the Purple Monkey or something like that. There is a Cab at Trader Joes called Liberte from Paso Robles too that is inexpensive and good. Agree Zum, Menage a Trois is always great.

I was pleasantly surprised by some of those too. They tasted good for the first, like, 3 boxes. (My house goes through a lot of wine.) But then I just couldn't stand it anymore.

I think in general the best values in reds are from Spain. Some of my all-time faves are Riojas, and they're pretty cheap compared to a high quality California or Oregon wine.

But at a more bearable every day price I would totally recommend this if you can find it. (click pic for more info).

Since i work in a Greek

Since i work in a Greek restaurant i drink whatever is open. Red, white, beer, sometimes scotch, brandy, whiskey, baileys frangelico kahlua and coffee are great this time of year.

When i do buy wine i try to get something from work. I get it at cost and i get to know the list better. If your wondering i love to drink Brunello but can't afford it so Rosso di Montalcino works. Then syrahs.

I stick to the local stuff.

I stick to the local stuff. It's great to go out to the farmer's market on Saturday morning for some wine tasting! ;)

AAAAH! Stomper!  I found that

AAAAH! Stomper! I found that Vina Alabra once and it.was.awesome. We weren't expecting much, given the relatively low price on it, but we were impressed. That's some good wine, right there.

Not so fond of the barefoot stuff. Tastes like kool aid to me. But I certainly wouldn't turn it down.

Trader Joe's, "Two Buck Chuck" well it's $2.79 a bottle....I like the LP Jason's suggestion of having wine in a box, I have way to many wine bottles in the recycle bin every week.

I thought it is called "Three Buck Chuck" now?
