Hello from Sweden!

Yet another Swedish barefooter. I registered here a while ago but haven't browsed the forums yet.

I've been running barefoot since May this year(slowly building feet strength since march). I ran my first(and so far only) 10k barefoot in September(in a kinda slow, but comfortable 1h 14min time).

I have no history in sports and definitely not in running. I read Born to Run and I was hooked!

The temperature is slowly dropping here and its getting colder outside. I hope my feet adjusts accordingly! :)

...my story so far. Cheers!

(note: Projekt Barfota is swedish for Project Barefoot or Barefoot Project)

Born to Run normally inspires

Born to Run normally inspires runners to shed their shoes. In your case, it inspired you to run. I love it! Welcome!

Somebody did beat me about

Somebody did beat me about the Swedish Chapter.

Just another Swede, who first joined the Fort Walton and yesterday moved to Jacksonville.

Why?

Because, when being in the States I am sleeping in the oldest city of U.S.

So, now we are at the least 5 Swedes.

Martin, Fredrick, Olle, Victor and me - K-G.

See you somewhere on earth.
