Mileage Reporting Week 50 ( Dec.12 to Dec. 18 )

Boulder and I did a short 2.5 mile run Wednesday at 5:00 am. It was 50 deg. f. with almost no wind. The sky was overcast (so no stars or moon). We did hear one owl. It almost had a damp feeling for the whole run.

Really cool to get out there!!

Missed logging yesterday, so here's from from Monday and Tuesday:

Monday - indoor track at YMCA: 2.29mi in 26:36 ~ avg 11:35/mile pace.
Tuesday - indoor track at YMCA: 2.06mi in 21:31 ~ avg 10:27/mile pace.

Tough to want to run much more than that where there's a lot of sanding dust in the air from them refinishing the gymnasium floor (the track runs around the 2 connected gymnasiums)....

We did a 3.5 mile run Thursday at Waterloo lake at 7:30 am. It was 37 deg. f. with 7 mph wind from the north. We spotted lots of waterfowl.

This is always a great run!!

We had a wild chilly 3 mile run Sunday at 6:00 am. It was still dark out for 90% of the outing. It was between 25-30 deg. f. with no wind (still barefoot). The sky was clear with lots of stars and a cool moon. Just as we started out we heard the local dogs barking and coyotes yipping very near the local dogs. At the end it was a excellent sunrise.

3.4 miles Saturday around my neighborhood. It was a cool day in the low 30's and not much wind. Other than a few walkers there was not too much to see.
