Boulder and I did a 4 mile run Today. Back in the city (Dallas TX.) It was 68 deg. f. with 15 mph winds. spotted a opossum, rabbits and heard one screech owl. Great outing!

4 miles this evening on Presque Isle. Busiest I've seen it since last Fall, especially runners. Not my best run, but got through it. I take a beta-blocker which makes it difficult to get my heart rate above 120 or so. Running at speeds not supported by a 120 rate tends to make me dizzy, which I battled the last half of my run today.

5.4 miles on this Barefoot Runners Day. Decided to change it up so I decided upon The Erie Cemetery, which is Erie's original burial ground located right in the heart of the city, occupying several city blocks. The cemetery is in full bloom now and provides a very quiet and introspective place for a run.

I started a run streak on the winter solstice on 12/21/2020. My initial goal was to run at least 1 mile everyday between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Now that the equinox has past, my goal is the Summer Solstice in June. For the week of 4/26 to 5/2, it was run streak days 127 through 133.

Weekly mileage was 16.84 miles with three 1 mile runs, three - 3 mile runs and one 5 mile run. It was an easy week. I have been averaging 25 - 30 miles per week previously.

As of 5/2 total 2021 mileage was 358.12. All miles are according to my garmin 920XT.

Impressive running streak there macdiver! I'm on the other side of the coin at the moment, running much less than usual because my night-owl children are keeping me awake after midnight and I'm struggling to get up in the morning for my usual 6am run. My only one for the week so far was 6km on Monday morning along the beach.
I ran past a strange lady who brings 2 or 3 of her chickens down to the sand and takes photos of them on the beach with the sunrise in the background. The first time I saw her do it I was completely weirded out (I guess that's how people feel when they see us running barefoot!), but now I'm used to her and I'm worried about the safety of the chickens with a few dog walkers sharing the beach with them. :chicken::chicken:

3.25 miles on Thursday around my neighborhood. I did something to my left knee recently- I don't think it is running related because it does not bother me when running, only when I walk. Anyway, I'm reducing my running this week and hoping that it improves.

Good luck with the knee duckfeet!

12km barefoot today. I slept in and missed my usual Saturday group and then ambled around until I found myself at the local ParkRun start line with a few mates there, so I decided to give it a go. Mostly gravel track so I was taking it easy, but I managed to pass a few people and got the usual comments. :barefoot: Good crowd.
