Boulder and I did a 3 mile run today at 5:30 am. It was 45 deg. f. with no wind. Spotted lots of rabbits. Really great outing

4.1 miles this evening. I wore my Merrels with Yak-Trax on a packed snow and ice surface. Temperature was not bad at 28 degrees but the wind was 30 mph which made for a cold wind chill. I saw one other runner and some walkers. It's amazing how much heavier my feet feel with shoes and traction device. I can feel it in my legs and I get noticeably more winded. My body is just used to being barefoot
Nice steady 7km this morning. Had a couple of days break after my weekend run, so it was good to get back out again. Good temperature too today-around 5C.. so there a few more early morning walkers around too...
Went out for 4.1 miles Friday evening with my Merrels and Yak Trax. It was kind of cold at 20 degrees but not as much wind so warmed up pretty well after getting going. There was 1 other runner and I did see a flock of geese at the beginning before it was totally dark. They were heading north, which I hope is an optimistic sign.
