I'm looking at getting vaccinated in July if things go as planned, which they aren't at the moment. Then a month for the booster plus a few more weeks to build full immunity, which means that I'm looking at October at the earliest before I can quit worrying personally. I'm not much worried about dying so much as I fear the heart damage that appears to affect nearly a third of the victims, even the young healthy ones with no symptoms. My running is slow enough already. My guess is that 2021 is going to be no better than 2020. I'm saying that not to be a wet blanket, but to help set expectations at a level where disappointment isn't guaranteed. I'm optimistic that we'll get through this, but I think we're only halfway there.
