Boulder and I skipped Tuesday and went out today. It may be one of those weird weeks!
Today it was 48 deg. f. with a slight wind. The moon was super big, lots of stars at the beginning. At the end the sun was coming up ad I could still spot the big moon. Another exceptional outing!!

4.3 BF miles on Sunday- nice 50 degree day but I was dead tired and wound up walking the last planned mile after finishing the 4.3. Saw a lot of walkers as this will be the last decent day in a while- expecting a snowy winter storm the next few days.
4.1 miles today( Thursday ) around my neighborhood- 1.25 BF and the rest wearing my Socks X8's. Temperature was 35 degrees with 20 mph wind and occasional snow patches remaining on the neighborhood roads. This was an evening run with my headlamp. Felt a lot better today and the feet are doing well.

We have some kind of owl around here in NW PA that sounds like a whinnying horse. I have never seen one, just heard it. Could that be a screech owl?

Yes indeed, if we are lucky we hear them often and they have many tones. some times we can hear 2 or 3 in the same area (maybe talking with one another). We do not usually see them. Defiantly an added bonus to an outing for me! (seeing or hearing)

Are you very close to London or the ocean? My family spends 2 weeks at the ocean every June and I just love running on a gently sloping sand beach!
I’m about an hour & half drive north of London, so certainly nowhere near the ocean unfortunately. A gently sloping sandy beach sounds quite idyllic. When it’s wet here it’s just good old fashioned UK weather..;)

5.5 miles this afternoon wearing my Socks X8's. This was a gray 32 degree day with light snow. Listened to Christmas music during my run- trying to fire up some Christmas spirit! My right heel feels bruised so will probably take an extra day or 2 off.
