Top of legs aching

Hello Guys & Gals,

I’m on the scrounge for knowledge again !!!!!!!!!

So when I get to about 8/9 km the top of my legs start to ache, It’s hard to explain but its where the leg joins the torso i think on both sides. just wondering if anybody else had experienced it, what it might be and what I might be doing wrong ?

I have not heard of this. I think it's muscle and connective tissue fatigue, and perhaps you're not conditioned yet to run that far. Be sure to ice when you are finished running. What you can do to offset it, I believe, is to exercise to strengthen that area when you are not running. Good luck.

Don't say that! You're just working through the kinks. Lots of us had to.

Can anyone help The Mole?
