I do have to ask because I have always preferred being barefoot I thought this process might be a little easier on the body. I’m not running a lot yet mostly just walking. But I do notice in the evenings I get foot twitches which I thought was kind of weird and I assume that it has a lot to do with utilizing muscles that haven’t been used I also got an issue with the inner right knee now when I do walk distance barefoot and again I am assuming this has to do with working stabilizer muscles. Just wondering if I’m alone in this and if it’s just a matter Of the body adapting

Welcome again!

Can you explain "foot twitches?" Exactly where on your feet; you said muscular? I used to get a tingling in my plantar skin when I first started out, all very normal, but that's not muscular.

It's hard to know what your knee is doing. If there's an existing weakness, you could be aggravating it. You may need to see a doctor for it, but definitely developing the muscles around your knees will help greatly.

I wanna say it’s skin deep and as for the knee I’m not sure what’s going on there. It might more then just the barefoot walking. Might be time to see the dr cause it’s aggravating the psoas muscle too.

I think you should see a doctor, and get some exercises to do that will help strengthen that area.

If the twitches you are feeling are skin deep, and they go away after a couple of hours or so (I'm trying to remember), then more than likely that's your skin responding to the work you put it through. It's an overload of sensory perception, as I understand it.
