Boulder and I did a 3 mile run today at 5:30 am. It was 82 deg. f. with 75% Rh. We heard some screech owls. We also spotted some rabbits, green parrots and one opossum.

Super Outing!

well done guys.... I just ran to Asda (UK food store owned by Walmart) and back about 2k with no shoes on and it felt really good..... maybe there is something to totally barefoot after all. my achilles problem didn't feel that bad whilst doing it

7.2km this morning on a fairly busy route... Lots of other runners, walkers, dog walkers, cyclists, builders, etc...
Our lockdown rules here are due to start being eased this coming weekend, but it seems as though everyone feels like they've been let off the leash already..
Oh well -enjoyable run none-the-less...:)

Well done Mole! -Go careful not to over do it on that Achilles (the hardest bit I think is definitely resisting the temptation to increase distance too rapidly..;)).

...fairly standard reaction most of the time mixed in with an odd look here & there...:)
I did just over 4.5k on the treadmill this afternoon in my vibrates before the old Achilles started to burn so i stopped straight away and switched to the cross trainer .
I’m going to try and upload a video of me on the treadmill to YouTube if you wouldn’t mind taking a look to see what you think of my form please.

If you post a link to it on the site I’ll keep an eye out for it.. you’ll no doubt get a good handful of replies- all useful feedback (hopefully...;))..

I started barefoot running a few months ago. Ive worked with a coach to build myself up and I love it. I ran for 25 mins yesterday in the wind and rain, in the Cumbrian mountains, UK, (haven't got the distance for yesterday on me at the moment)....fantastic! You feel so happy :)

So today it was my first day back at work after being furloughed, I wasn’t looking forward to it and it was hard work after nearly 14 weeks off... i took my kit with me and when I finished work i went out for a run.
I did 6k in 28 minutes, to be honest its a nice flat path 3k up and 3k back so it was nice and easy and my Achilles was a bit sore but manageable... when I got back to work the fact I wasn’t in pain and not out of breath and totally chilled has put be on such a high that I had to come home on tell somebody, the wife’s not interested so you lot have had to put up with my ramblings !!!!!!!!
Take care peeps x
