I've copied this article into a text file to read again and again, as I found the advice on body posture, especially the hips, really helpful. Everyone talks about relaxed shoulders, but I'd not seen anything on pelvis angle before. Thanks for posting!

What I got from the article was the "Kenyan Shuffle". I always you to try to take off a high speed (in my younger days) and wait for my lungs and breathing to catch up with my legs. The only problem if I do that now is that I will probably strain something so I do the Kenyan shuffle, start off slow until things start to warm up and the breathing is right.
I'm happy to know I have slipped into the way that the worlds great runners train.
